So Sorry to hear of Gene's passing - my thoughts and prayers with the entire Cribb family.

My sincere condolences to Gene's Wonderful Family. I met & worked part-time with this soft spoken Gentleman in Greenville around 1960, took a night course at Furman with him, attended his lovely wedding to Zillah, then saw him around campus at Clemson, watched his well-deserved success in the business world and then building his first house that he was so proud of. Sad i wasn't in touch the last 40 years to see him but so glad Gene's smile, words & humor remained with me. Go TiGERS!

I have fond memories of Gene in the classrooms and halls of Winyah High but my most vivid are on the basketball court. He was a great competitor and team player. It was an honor to be co-captain with Gene our senior year, 55-56. Well done, Gene.
