We are so sorry about your loss. The entire Gendelman family mourns with you.
Elza was a wonderful lady and made our entire family welcome to her house in Charleston as well as her beach house. I remember many years of fun with all of you as well as with Fran, Mamie and Art.
Sam and Betty loved Elza and your family and have made lasting memories for me.
We will miss her deeply.

Jack,
Very sorry for your lost. I know your mom was very special lady, and you were lucky to have her. I firmly believe in a loving God and an afterlife, and I am sure she is in paradise, making suggestions on how to better improve those angel robes. Take heart and know that you do not grieve alone for you are in the thoughts and prayers of so many friends,

Elza was certainly one of the classiest, funniest people I've ever known. I will miss our very colorful "office" conversations, or therapy sessions as she would call it. We had a very special bond and she will forever be super special to me. Prayers to the family xoxo

Jack Alterman and family, I am saddend to hear of your matriarch's passing. Elza was so kind and generous. I have fond memories of our family trips to The Holy City to see our "Charleston Family". My father, Raymond Halford, loved his dear cousin Elza. You and everyone that knew her were blessed with her laughter and spirit of hospitality.

With my deepest sympathy,
Anne Halford Burley
