Dear Alex, thank you for being my friend. You were most caring person anyone could meet. You taught me how to be myself, and you were always there for me. I'll never forget you and the adventures we had. You meant so much to me. I love you man.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was Alex's SAIL teacher at Buist Academy. He was very intelligent and excelled in many areas. His enthusiasm for learning and his creativity made him stand out. He wanted to make the world a better place and I'm sorry he won't be around to see the long-term effects of his many acts of kindness.

I remember Alex in Cub Scouts, so excited about each new adventure. So many memories of the boys all getting together at someone's house or playing soccer on James Island. So sorry to lose him.
