To the Drawdy family I served with your son in the 1st infantry division and have nothing but great memories with Robert he was a great warrior and a even a greater man. When it came time to going on missions he was always the first to volunteer to go back out on patrol many of us have struggled and continue to struggle with the memories of war may god bless his soul lots of love to the Drawdy family he will be missed.

My Dearest Bobby and Family, my heart is broken for you in the loss of you precious son Robbie. As a Great Aunt to Robbie, as your mother's sister (Bobby) I remember you so fondly as a little boy and as a young man. We have been separated by so many miles over the last 25+ years....from Louisiana to the Carolinas. I am so sorry I did not meet Robbie but I am absolutely sure he was a fine young man who served our country with outstanding honors. You all are in my thoughts. Love, Aunt Mary
