Memories & Candles
sorry to hear about Charles
Posted by: Randy Wise - St.Matthews, SC Mar 01, 2020
Anne, We have missed the presence of the Smoak and Crook families in our community for many years . We did not know of Charles' illness until just a week or two ago and was sorry to learn that he passed away this week. May you and your family be blanketed with peace and strength that comes from God, and live with joy and assurance that you will be reunited again. The treasured memories that you hold in your hearts will keep him near to you forever.

Anne, sympathy to you and family in your loss. Charles was a dear classmate and friend who will be missed. Gone but never forgotten.

Charles was one of the finest man and the finest person that I ever had the pleasure of getting to know. His impact on the world around was nothing less than great. It broke my heart that such a fine and influential person first had some physical problems but it really upset me to hear of his passing. Charles truly cared about his fellow man and set an awesome example for the rest of us to try to follow. Charles,
