Words do not come easy during these times, our thoughts are so clouded with thoughtful memories, laughter, good food, drinks, and sadness. We shared great times in North Carolina (Camp Lejeune) were we both had the opportunity to serve in the same battalion. Lamar and Denise opened their home to me and introduced me to a good church many years ago so I greatly appreciate them both. Lamar got me out of trouble a few times, those were the days.
