Memories & Candles
Sending my deepest sympathy to the McKenzie family. I had the honor to know and work for Sherwood for years. Truly he was a great leader that impacted and influenced the lives of many in a positive way. His firm and fair leadership paved many roads of success for the company and the employees of PYA/Monarch and USF. With the fondest of memories and forever great full I will remember him always. My prayers remain with the McKenzie family.
Sincerely,
Rick Barrett

What a giant of a man Mr. McKenzie was in the foodservice industry. He had such a strong presence and also a huge heart . He gave me a chance in the business and I will forever be grateful. He had a tough exterior but a wonderful kindness. I do remember times when he would "chew" you out for good reason but also before you left his presence he encouraged you. Again he was a giant and will be missed greatly. Prayers for the McKenzie family. Al Deal

Andy and Craig and Family,
I can't even begin to tell you all of the good things I thought and felt about your Dad. In my all time Hall of Fame for people who influenced my life he is definitely in the top five. I will never forget him and all he did for me. Know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Take care

I was saddened to hear of Sherwood's death. His wife Doris and I went through 12 years of school together, and I met the love of her life, Sherwood . Sherwood was a fine man and an avid reader. I always admired his determination to do well in life ,which he did, and the love and goodness he shared with his family. He loved people and I know he will be missed by many. My love and sympathy to you Doris, and of course to each of yours and Sherwood's family.
