Memories & Candles
I worked with Kathy for about 17 years and know how deeply she will be missed by her work family. We relied on her experience and knowledge daily. The Medical Center will miss the efforts she made to make sure that her work was as flawless as possible. Whenever I could we would grab lunch together and many of the local restaurants' wait staff knew her by sight and how to satisfy her particular tastes. I will miss the conversations

My prayers and thought are with the Michau family during this time of bereavement.
Miss Kathy you will be greatly missed. Your kindness and willingness to always help anyone in need was a treasured gift not many can exceed. You were truly an asset to the mission of the VA Hospital. The excellent service you gave to the Veterans was exhibited daily. We love you and will always remember and keep you in our heart.

RIP Kathy. You were there when I first started at the VA and taught me many things. You were the go to person and will be dearly missed. I will miss the days of getting lunch and you not wanting your fries. I will miss the bag of cereal and other goodies. I know you are in a better place and we will see each other again. Rest easy my friend and thanks for being part of my life! I will miss you!

My condolences to the Michau family.
Kathleen was one of the original IT folks when i came to Charleston VAMC as a IT guy.
I worked with her for 6 years. Having such a close working relationship on a day to day basis I had an opportunity to know a lot about her and learned a lot from her.
She was an awesome person to know and will forever be remember.
