My deepest sympathy to Ruth Ann and all the Lein family on the loss of John. He will long be remembered for his smile, positive attitude and always wanting to voluntarily help keep the history of the USAF Air Weather and Air Weather Reconnaissance Services updated and to keep great camaraderie among its members. He was great to see at many reunions. Best wishes to his family and close friends for good health and strength to carry on.

I only met John a few times. Each a good time getting together for a holiday or birthday. He was a good man and it's so good to have his three children and grandson among my friends. Homeward through the haze.

Life Stories
Aunt Ruth; I am sure your champion will be missed because he encouraged you to inhale life and excel at what you loved. John appeared to have loved life and he lived it to the last. He was always such a pleasant person when I called he would always laugh ( and it was as if I could sense his smile) and say hold on Reta I'll get Ruth. He enjoyed joyous occasions and one of the greatest was Kisha's wedding and being with the family.
