To Suzi and family and Brother Jimmy and family, I wish we could have been with you at the Memorial Services for Skeeter. Even though we weren't there in person we were with all of you in spirit and love. My sister and I kept remembering some of the times we, as cousins, used to get together when Uncle Wilson and Aunt Edna would travel through Jacksonville, FL. We had just started having family reunions among the Wiggins family cousins about three years ago so it was a blessing seeing all of us grown up. Our prayers and love are extended to each of you during this sad time. Hopefully we can get together soon to hug one another. In Christian love, Martha Wiggins Cox and Vivian Wiggins Pursell (Cousins from Florida)

Skeeter was a great friend and neighbor to my family. I'll always remember he had the foresight to bring a big bulldozer to our neighborhood right before Hugo struck. He had our roads and driveways cleared of debris before we even knew it! He then started down Bohicket Rd. and made a path for everyone. He was one of the kindest persons I have had the privilege of knowing. Please accept our most sincere condolences. God be with your family at this difficult time.

Gene and I grew up within a block of each other. We played together as young boys and went to school and played in the JIHS band together. Haven't seen him since I was 17; but, my boyhood memories of him are as vivid as they ever were in the 50's and 60's. I pray for the family he has left behind and know that he's smiling now. I wish that I'd kept in touch through the years.

So sad to hear of the passing of Skeeter. His brother Jimmy and I were classmates at James Island High and their mother was my history teacher and senior sponsor. Skeeter was a great guy as is his brother Jimmy and two good ole island boys. My wife Jennie and I send our heartfelt condolences to the whole family. As believers in Christ, He offers us hope and comfort.

Suzi, Kelly and Angie,

So sad to hear about Skeeter! I will always remember the fun times at
Orange Hill! He would line up the children on old Darbin and turn him
Loose in the yard. That draft horse would walk around the yard with
His passengers' as long as they wanted to. Or, when we thought they had tortured him enough.

Skeeter was a Prince of a man. Our own Grizzle Adams'.
I am sure that he and his old friend, Tuffy, are having a wonderful reunion.

He will be greatly missed.
