Tribute & Message From The Family

Message From The Family

Thank you for your support during this difficult time. Please enhance this tribute to Bradley by adding your memories and photos.

Bradley Allen Stevenson, 57, of Hanahan, SC, entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 31, 2018.

Brad is survived by his parents, William Erle and Dora Jill Stevenson of Summerville, SC; wife, Sherri Lyn Lee Stevenson of Hanahan, SC; son, Garrett James Stevenson of East Lansing, MI; daughter, Kelsey (Robert) Hikade of East Lansing, MI; two brothers, Peter C. Stevenson of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and William Scott Stevenson of Brentwood, TN; two stepchildren, Shawn Kramer and Noah Kramer (Sherri's sons); his MSU family; extended family and many friends.

Brad was born April 3, 1961 in Royal Oak, MI. Brad earned his B.A. in Materials and Logistics Management from Michigan State University and his M.A. in Materials and Logistics Management from Central Michigan University. He was employed by ICL Corporation as a Planning and Warehouse Coordinator.

Brad was a loving, fun, and considerate husband and best friend to Sherri. His friends referred to him as a "live wire". He created fond memories with those he met. Brad loved baseball, boating, traveling, exercising, hiking, and SPREADSHEETS! Brad reveled in the strong bonds he shared with his childhood and MSU friends. He served God through the Cold Weather Shelter (Hibben Hospitality) at Hibben United Methodist Church and through outreach programs at Seacoast Community Church.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 3:00 pm in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road, North Charleston, SC 29406. A reception will be held at the chapel immediately following the service.

Brad's family wishes to thank everyone for their continued thoughts and prayers. Brad will surely be missed by us all, but we know that we will get through this because "We can do ALL things through Christ Jesus who gives us strength." Philippians 4:13

Flowers may be sent to J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road, North Charleston, SC 29406.

Condolence & Memory Journal

I'm sorry to hear of Brad's passing. We shared several memories ... working at the Cold Shelter and the 60's party at the Rifle Club. He'll be missed.

Sheri, You and your family are in my prayers. I am so sorry for your loss.

I've known Brad since my transfer to the same elementary school in second grade. I had a HUGE crush on him and was excited to luck-out and be seated next to him in music class. I made sure to always wear my favorite dresses on music-class days, just to impress him! Although my wardrobe didn't seem to help catch his eye, I was still super happy to be classmate friends through our early school years. In recent years, it has been a pleasure to be an online friend.

I have no doubt that Brad's love for his family and friends will remain vividly and positively alive.

Sheri, I am so sorry for your loss. Jon and I enjoyed running into him on our walks in Belle Hall. He always had a huge smile and just made you feel good talking to him. I know he will be missed by many. Sending prayers for you and your family.
