Condolence & Memory Journal

I have wonderful memories of Mickey growing up in Newberry. Our familes spent a lot of time together at the lake, in scouting, in each others homes, and on and on. In the 1960s, I could walk the mile to his house to play in Mickey and Timmy's neighborhood. We could all walk the mile or two to the place where whatever game was going on. I'll never forget our Dads helping us build a canoe in the Moye basement. So many great memories!

Still can't believe it! Going to miss that HUGH infectious smile that he brought wherever he went. He LOVED his family and loved to talk about his kids. He loved being Nile's and Maddox's father. His quick whit and no nonsense attitude was just part of why we loved him so much. You will be missed and never forgotten.
Prayers, Peace and comfort from God above for Shawna, Niles, Maddox and all everyone that knew him.

I am so sorry to hear of Mickey's passing. I knew Mickey, Timmy, Mr. and Mrs. Moye from my childhood in Newberry. We went to Aveleigh Presbyterian Church together. Although I had lost track of Mickey over the years, I know he did well. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time.
