Tribute & Message From The Family

Stacey Nan (Greer) Rowlett, age 49, tragically had her life taken away from her February 8, 2020. She was born March 22, 1970, in Statesboro, GA, and lovingly adopted by Bill & Nan Greer. She grew up in the Lowcountry of South Carolina, mainly on the Isle of Palms. She graduated from East Cooper School in Mount Pleasant, and earned an Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies from Midway College near Lexington, KY. She worked for several law firms as a paralegal. A huge Kentucky Wildcats fan, Stacey was always tuned in on game days.

Stacey had several health battles over the last years of her life, and was successfully treated for breast, skin and lung cancer. She was thankfully pronounced cancer free in January of 2019.

She is survived by her mother, Nan Greer, brother and wife Will and Susanne Greer, niece Mycayla Greer, and niece and nephew Bridgette and Bailey Sauder. She had almost 15 cousins from Alabama, Tennessee and South Carolina.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Tri-County Intergroup (Alcoholics Anonymous), 1827 Reynolds Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29405, Hollings Cancer Center, Office of Development, 86 Jonathan Lucas Street, MSC 955, Charleston, SC, 29425 or Changed Lives Ministry, 470 Reid Hill Road, Moncks Corner, SC 29461.

I do not have a memory of Stacy. In fact, I had never met her. She was a friend of a friend of mine. And I wanted to share my condolences to the family and friends. Reading her obituary: What Stacy overcame (cancer) in her life was a miracle, but then having her life "tragically" taken ... is so heartbreaking.
I am sending prayers to you all during this time. I hope that each day passing will become easier to bear. Please know that she will be shining brightly across the sky and will be with each of you always.

My prayers and love go out to Mrs. Greer, Will, and all of Stacey's family. Stacey was one of my best friends, and my heart has a hole that can never be filled. May God embrace you all throughout your healing, and may our sweet Stacey finally have her peace.

Family Album

One of our many memories, and the only picture I could find. You were so loved and will be missed by so many.
