Condolence & Memory Journal

Dear Sharon, Christopher, Nicholas, Elizabeth and Katherine,

My deepest sympathy to you and your family for your recent loss. Well respected by his peers and patients, Stewart embodied what it means to be a physician caring for so many over the years. It was a honor to be his friend and colleague. We celebrate his life, and he will be continued to be missed.

Most sincerely,

Rhonda Chanson

What a wonderful man and a wonderful life! He's an inspiration and model to all the rest of us dads and husbands. May he rest in eternal peace with the good Lord and may God bless Dr. Eads and all the tremendous Eads family.

I retired from the Navy in 1991. Our healthcare was provided by the Navy Hospital at the time, but this was soon to close. My wife and I needed a family physician and had no idea where to start. We got a flyer in the mail about Dr. Eads opening up a practice on Ashley Phosphate Rd. We called for an appointment and were very impressed. That was it, our search was over. We followed him wherever he went. We knew he had health issues, and were troubled when he left. We missed him, he really meant so much to us. We were so sad to hear of his passing. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with his family, God Bless and keep you all.

Dear Sharon, Christopher, Nicholas, Elizabeth, Catherine, Aunt Gracie, Uncle Billy and Eads Family-

It is with a heavy heavy heart I am writing my condolences for Stewart!! I am so sorry to hear of Stewart's passing. What a battle he has fought and with such dignity and courage. He is a true hero in my books and so are you Sharon. Stewart could not have asked for a better care taker and you were always right by his side every step of the way!! He will leave a lasting imprint on so many peoples hearts he has touched whether it be family, friends, co-workers or patients. I will cherish all of our family gatherings over the years and all the fun and laughter that came along with it. His legacy will go on through his beautiful four children that he will now look after every minute of everyday. Never lose faith, you need it more than ever through these trying times and when you need it the most you will know he is with you.
May Stewart always shine down over you from heaven until you reunite again.

Love always Susan & Robbie, and God's blessings to all.

Stewart will be missed by many as his life's influence was without bounds. As I read the other posts he extended his love and compassion to many. Stewart treated others with the greatest of empathy and expressed this in his actions. Memories, his family's, patient's, friend's and mine, will last and be cherished. May God bless you Stewart.

Dr Eads was a very compassionate person. Our mother was a patient of his for a number of years. Her name was Wille D Rabun and he always talked directly to her and he made sure she knew what was going on with her health. She was very elderly and she appreciated him taking the time needed for her to understand.
I, too am identical twin and we would talk to him about the twins and his boys. He could not tell us apart either.
Dr Eads was very proud of his family.
We are so sorry for the loss of Dr. Eads as a husband, father, son and brother. Prayers for his family and friends. May he Rest In Peace.

Dear Sharon:

We are so sorry to hear of Stewart's passing!

It is hard to believe that we met you 25 years ago. We have so many wonderful memories of our time with you in Charleston.

Bruce and Stewart always had so much fun going out on the boat, and coming back with...well, not so much fish, but they always had a great time!! We had such good times watching Rachel and Christopher during their first year.

I am so glad that we reconnected during our more recent visits to Charleston, and that we had the chance to have dinner with all of you.

When we look back on our three years in Charleston, you and Stewart are the ones that we think about!

We know that his memory will always comfort you and the kids!!

Love,
Laurie and Bruce

Sharon,
We are heartbroken for you and the grandchildren. He loved you and the children with all his heart and that's the reason he fought so long, and you all fought right along with him. We are so blessed that he graciously included us in all the holidays and family celebrations. We will cherish those memories forever.
Love you all so much. Mom and Dad
