A magnificent lady; the most infectious laugh.
Truly one of a kind; I shall never forget her.

I never had the pleasure of getting to know Mrs. Newsome but have enjoyed a long friendship with her son, Scott. I am sure her role as a mother was instrumental in raising such a fine son. My sympathy to the Newsome family and all who knew and loved her. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

My beautiful Aunt Val has gone to be with my Dad and Aunt Jean. I remember her visits from America fondly. My heart goes out to my cousins Melinda, Scott and Mark. She was a remarkable woman only 6 months short of 100. A beauty who was Miss Bondi Beach and became a War bride travelling to live in America. Her passions were her children and her love of great danes. She was a wonderful cook and seamstress and remained independent until the end. Rest in Peace

Melinda, Mark, Scott, My deepest sympathy and love and prayers for all of you during this time of sorrow. You had your mother for a long time, but some how that never seems to make a difference. I know she will be missed by each of you. May the Good Lord wrap His arms of love, comfort and peace around you, her loving children. With much love and many prayers, Monnie & Buddy
