The world rightly grieves the loss one of its very best. Not only was it a privilege to know and work with Jesse for more than 20 years, it was my personal joy to do so. Jesse blended uncommon insight with the enviable ability to do just the right thing. RIP dear friend.

I wish that my 20-something year old self had been able to fully grasp the truth of Jesse´s words to me when I decided to leave ICL, "you´ve worked for the best, now try the rest." Jesse was without question the best leader I have ever worked for. He was strong, kind, fair and taught me so many valuable things that I still use today. I am sorry to learn of his passing, and will be forever grateful that I had the privilege of knowing him. My deepest sympathies for Penny and for everyone that loved him.
