Elizabeth "Betty" H. Kirk, 91, of North Charleston, SC, widow of James "Sonny" Kirk, Jr. entered into eternal rest Saturday, January 15, 2022. Her cryptside funeral service will be held Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 11:00 am, in the Carolina Memorial Park Mausoleum, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel. Due to COVID concerns, the family asks that all in attendance please wear a face mask.

Elizabeth was born June 30, 1930 in Greenville, SC, daughter of the late Jarvie Harrelson and Annie Loftis Harrelson. She worked in Administration at GARCO in North Charleston, and later retired from the Charleston Naval Shipyard. All her life, Elizabeth was a hard worker and made great strides to care for her family. She loved her flowers, enjoyed gardening, and watching her boys play baseball. She will be sorely missed by her family.

Elizabeth is survived by her children; son, Ronnie Kirk (Joy), daughter, Debbie Kirk Day (Keith) and son, Kevin Kirk (Linda); eight grandchildren, Stephanie, Katie, Kristina, Jordan, Lauren, Matt, Amy and Jason; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Sally Burn and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was pre-deceased by her parents and one granddaughter, Jennifer.
