Anita's many volunteer activities included serving in the office and on the altar guild. Anita worked over 20 years for Home Insurance ultimately becoming the branch executive secretary.
After John's death, Anita met and married Forest Brinson at St. John's, then retiring to Plantation Estates. She enjoyed friends and many activities including bridge, sewing and crafts, also sending handmade cards to remember each resident's birthday. In 2014 she moved to Mt. Pleasant, SC.

Anita gained strength, perseverance, and courage through her Savior Jesus Christ. She will be remembered in love by her friends, family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family is deeply grateful for the staff of the Somerby Assisted Living facility and the medical professionals who took such good care of Anita.
