Anne "DeeDee" Elizabeth Maull Smith, 96, of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 31, 2021. Her funeral service will be held graveside, on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Carolina Memorial Park at 2:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston, SC 29414.

DeeDee was born February 7, 1924 in Charleston, SC, she was the daughter of the late Archibald Maull and Lucia Hiott Maull. She attended Asbury Methodist Church her entire childhood and young adult life. She was preceded in death by the love of her life of 67 years; the late William A. Smith, Sr., whom she called "Her Bill." After moving to West Ashley in 1960, they became members of Grace United Methodist Church, where they both stayed for their remaining years. She was a feisty, loving, lady full of grace, and had lots of love for her family and friends. Her children, grandchildren and great grands were very special to her. Her door was always open to whomever graced the doorstep. One of the most generous and kind loving ladies ever.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Smith, (Mike); her sons, William A Smith, Jr., (Diana) and Raymond A Smith, (Lauren). She had 6 grandchildren, Jerred, Ryan, Alex, Jason, Annie and Eric, as well as 5 great-grandchildren.
