Annette Aviles, 72, of Huger, SC, wife of Deacon Stanley "Stan" Aviles, lived a life of faith and ministry. A proud gardener and loving wife, sister, daughter and "auntie", she touched all whom she met. Her faith guided her as an instrument of God's love.

She passed peacefully into God's warm embrace on June 9, 2021. The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 14, 2021 in St. Benedict Catholic Church, 950 Darrell Creek Trail at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Born in Bronx, NY, on December 29, 1948, to John and Filomena "Fannie" Perrino, she was one of four children: Marie, Joann and John. She attended Our Lady of Grace School and Aquinas High School in the Bronx.

Married to Stan on May 9, 1970 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Bronx, NY, the couple celebrated 51 years of love. They attended Saint Joseph's Seminary (Dunwoodie) where Stan completed the diaconate formation program.

The couple moved to Stormville, NY and became the proud owners of Telefax Religious Book & Gift Shop in Hopewell Junction, NY. Annette ministered to the sick and homebound, faithfully serving St. Denis Catholic Church and the surrounding community in Dutchess County, NY.

Upon moving to Huger, SC, she joined the Prayer Shawl Ministry at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Mount Pleasant, SC where she received a warm welcome into the parish community.

She is survived by her husband, Stan Aviles, of Huger, SC; her mother, Fannie, of Mount Pleasant, SC; her sister, Joann, and her husband, Bart Gravino, of Huger, SC; her brother, John, and his wife, Ellen, of Hedgesville, WV; and many nieces, nephews and cousins who cherish her love.
