Charles was born January 6, 1932 in Lake City, South Carolina, son of the late Wilmer A. Floyd and the late Lucy Knight Floyd. Charles was a salesman for Roger Wood for over 25 years. He was a lifelong Clemson Tigers and Atlanta Braves fan and made sure to pass down the tradition to family. He was a man of faith and always gave the best for his family. In his spare time, you could find him fishing, gardening, canning, watching a game, or listening to a favorite oldie.
He is survived by his sister, Judith Johnson, of Charleston, SC and members of the Cumbee, Floyd, and Kuzio families.
