Deborah Uzzell Saari, 88, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of David Saari, entered into eternal rest Saturday, February 11, 2022. Her funeral service will be held Friday, July 15, 2022 in The French Huguenot Church, 136 Church Street at 2:00 p.m. Interment, Saint James Church Cemetery. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.Deborah was born June 24, 1933 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of Thomas and Marjorie Uzzell. She was a graduate of Ashley Hall and worked as a teller for South Carolina National Bank. Deborah was a member of Colonial Dames and Ladies Benevolent Society.She is survived by her son, William M. Moore of Johns Island, SC; granddaughter, Amanda A. Moore of Aiken, SC; great-grandson, Michael A. Colon; brothers, Thomas M. Uzzell of Philadelphia, PA and James Uzzell of Chicago, IL. She was preceded in death by her son, Roger Alan Moore, Jr and her sister, sister, Joye Pregnall.Memorials may be made to The French Huguenot Church, Charleston, SC.
