Dorothy Antley Neale, 99, of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest Sunday, August 19, 2018. She was the widow Cornelius Mitchum Neale. Her funeral service will be held Thursday, August 23, 2018, in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., North Area Chapel, 2119 Dorchester Road at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the North Area Chapel.

Dorothy was born May 1, 1919 in Canadys, SC, daughter of the late Joseph Cuthbert Antley and the late Ethel Pickering Antley. She was a member of Wando Woods Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, George Douglas Neale (Teresa) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Henry Antley Neale (Lesley) of Jedburg, SC; four daughters: Cornelia Elizabeth Gibson of Greeley, CO, Mary Jo Maner (Tommy) of North Charleston, SC, Alice Neale Hill (Jeff) of Warner Robins, GA and Barbara Neale (Tom Hutto) of Meggett, SC; sister-in-law, Clara Antley of Mt. Pleasant, SC; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her four brothers, William Henry "Bill" Antley, Mike Randolph Antley, Hampton "Hamp" Lee Antley, Joseph Benjamin "Ben" Antley and one sister, Mary Julia Blount.
