Dorothy "Dottie" Elizabeth Weatherford, 70, of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, widow of Roger Weatherford, entered into eternal rest Sunday, July 18, 2021. Her graveside funeral service will be held at 2:30pm, Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Riverview Memorial Park Cemetery, 3715 Azalea Dr., North Charleston, SC 29405. The family will receive friends from 12:00PM - 2:00PM at the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Rd. in North Charleston.

Dottie was born September 5, 1950 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Clyde Locklear and Edna Feagin Locklear. She was a nurse for much of her working career. In her spare time, she was an avid BINGO! player and was also a member of two pool teams through the American Pool Association. She also loved to sing and was active throughout her life singing in a the Carolina Country band, as well as the Charleston STARS.

She is survived by a son, David R. Pritchard; daughter, Teressa "Michelle" Pritchard; granddaughter, Amanda Lewin, 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three brothers, Leverne, Steve and Michael Locklear; two sisters, Mary Pate and Rachel Bartley; her furbabies, Gidget and Buddy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three children; James Allen Pritchard, III, John Glenn Pritchard and Chanene Elizabeth Yates; loving companion, Tim Rhode.
