Entered into eternal rest on March 22, 2012, Eleanor Faith Saunders Scott, widow of Lt. Col. William Wayne Scott, USAF (Ret.) of North Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends of Mrs. Faith Scott are invited to attend her graveside service Monday, March 26, 2012 in Beaufort National Cemetery at Noon. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 p.m until 6:00 p.m. in J. HENRY STUHR, INC, WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway.
Born December 2, 1931 in Roanoke, Virginia, Faith was the daughter of the late Walter Lawrence Saunders and the late Minnie Hammersley Tibbs Saunders. Faith was an avid reader, flower arranger, porcelain doll making seamstress, and had many talents with numerous crafts.
Survivors include; three daughters, Melinda Brooke Scott, Tami Loree (Rick) Lowman, and Sherri Lynne (Robbie) Stroud; seven grandchildren, Brooke and Julia Smith, Taylor and Tradd Lowman, Bobby and Jordan Stroud; Ryan (Max) Sherwood; a great grandson, Chase William Smith; two great granddaughters, Aiden and Parker Sherwood; a sister, Hope Kerr of Roanoke, VA; brothers, Ray Saunders of Tuscaloosa, AL and Hiram Saunders (Nancy) of Memphis, TN; a sisters-in-law, Dorris P. Saunders of Seattle, WA and Betty Saunders of Roanoke, VA.
