Elizabeth Anne "Betty" Stafford Stinson, 93, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Jack A. Stinson, Sr. entered into eternal rest Thursday, April 19, 2018. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 22, 2018 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, April 23, 2018 in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.

Elizabeth was born September 2, 1924 in Charleston, SC, daughter of the late George Edward Stafford and Annie Mae White Stafford. She was a graduate of The College of Charleston. Betty was a retired Elementary School Teacher. She was an active member of Ashley River Baptist Church and a member of The International Order of Kings Daughters.

She is survived by her two sons, Jack A. Stinson, Jr. ( Karen), and G. Stafford Stinson (Marenda) all of Charleston, SC; daughter, Elizabeth S. Hendrick (Gerald) of Mansfield, TX; five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ashley River Baptist Church (Building Fund), 1101 Savannah Hwy., Charleston, SC 29407.
