Else Lillian Pedersen Olsen, 76, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Rolf Olsen entered into eternal rest Wednesday, September 19, 2018. A Gathering of Friends will be held Monday, September 24, 2018 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Else was born April 1, 1942 in Lista, Norway, daughter of the late Einar Pedersen and Gudren Tonnesen Pedersen. She owned "Working with Nature Bonsai Studio" and has had a booth in The Historic Charleston Market for over 40 years. Else enjoyed designing and creating Gemstone Jewelry. She was very artistic. Her passion was her work.

She is survived by her two daughters, Ellen O. Japarks of Conway, SC, and Heidi Olsen Ackerman (Allen) of Yonges Island, SC; son, Robert J. Olsen (Melissa Langston) of Mount Pleasant, SC; six grandchildren, A.J. Ackerman, Adam Ackerman, Shelby Olsen, Andrew Olsen, Eli Olsen, Kelsey Yacobacci, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Ester Hall of Brooklyn, NY, Ase Zablow of Summerville, SC, and brother, Ozzie Pedersen of Coram, NY. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her son Harold Olsen, granddaughter Elane Runyon and grandson Johnny Japarks.
