Frances Lorine Stidham Sports, 91, of North Charleston, SC, wife of George Wright Sports, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 19, 2021 surrounded by her husband, children and grandchildren.. Her funeral service will be held at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road, Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 10:00 am. The interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends in Stuhr Northwoods Chapel on hour prior to the service.

She was born July 6, 1929 in Manning, SC the daughter of Samuel Nelson Stidham and Frances Bouchette Stidham. She was a member for 59 years of Lydia Baptist Church.

Mrs. Sports is survived by her husband of 76 years, George Sports of North Charleston, SC; son, Pressley Gene E. Sports of Summerville, SC; four daughters: Drandelyn Moziseck of Sheridan Lake, CO, Brenda Gullo of Hanahan, SC, Kay Shephard of Goose Creek, SC and Paula Myers of Berkeley County, Lebanon; one sister, Joan Benton of Florence, SC; 25 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; twelve great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, George Eric Sports and her daughter, Connie Wilson.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association National Office, 161 N. Clark, Suite 3550, Chicago, Illinois 60601.
