Gertrude Burbage, 99, of Ravenel, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Friday, December 29, 2017. Her Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 13, 2018 in Sauldam Baptist Church, 5945 County Line Road at 2:00 p.m. Inurnment will follow in Sauldam Baptist Church Cemetery. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.

Gertrude was born February 16, 1918 in Ravenel, South Carolina, daughter of the late William A. Burbage and Julia L. Burbage. She was retired from A & P Company, and was a volunteer with Roper Hospital for 37 years. Gertrude was a member of Sauldam Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sister, Margie B. May of Kinston, NC, many nieces and nephews and loving extended family. She was preceded in death by nine brothers and three sisters.
