Dr. Harold Roy Nicolette, DO, passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his children, on June 2, 2021 at 68 years of age. His Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 11, 2021 in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 2:00 pm. Interment will immediately follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, 1308 Mathis Ferry Road. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 10, 2021 in the Mount Pleasant Chapel from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Harold was born on April 10th, 1953, in Grand Rapids, MI to David William Nicolette and Dr. Emma Louise MacAdams Nicolette.

He is survived by his children, Travis (Elizabeth), Trey (Melanie), Tara, Taylor, and Timothy; as well as his brothers, David, Alan, and Joseph; sister, Re' Grams; brother and sister-in-law Michael Vandertill and Pamela Klein; and his best friend, Jim Nicolette and wife Christine. He is also survived by two grandchildren, to whom he will be fondly remembered as "Nonno", Theo and Elia.

Dr. Nicolette was a respected physician in the Charleston area for decades and left a lasting impact on countless patients and friends. In addition to his practice, he helped co-found the Dream Center, a medical center for the underprivileged, through SeaCoast Church. Famous for his tireless work ethic and his countless projects, completed with speed rather than accuracy, as well as his frequent acts of charity and generosity, Harold earned the titles of "The Terminator" and "Saint Hal" from his children. Dr. Harold Nicolette will be missed deeply, but his spirit will live on through his family, children, friends, and patients.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in honor of his beloved wife, Myrna Nicolette, who also passed before her time on March 24th, 2013.
