Kenneth "Kenny" Bruce Holbert, 64, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest, Tuesday, November 9, 2021. His celebration of life will be held Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Northwood Baptist Church, 2200 Greenridge Road, at 4:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service beginning at 3:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Kenny was born August 1, 1957 in Long Beach, California, son of the late Ronald Lewis Holbert (Charleston, SC) and the late Fay Trammell Holbert (Fresno, Ca). Kenny was raised in West Ashley but spent most of his adult life in Jacksonville, Florida before moving back to the Charleston area in 2019. He spent most of his time outdoors in nature or with family. Kenny had a passion for helping animals and always seemed to find an animal in need of some assistance.

Kenny is survived by his step mother, Christine C. Holbert of Charleston, SC; brother Michael Lewis Holbert, of Barnwell, SC; four sisters: Karla Holbert Passailaigue (Jerry) of Charleston, SC; Tammy Holbert Daniels (Ken) of Goose Creek, SC; Rhonda Holbert Christensen (Mark) of Hanahan SC and Jessie Holbert Sponaugle (Michael) of Gainesville, MO. Kenny leaves behind eight nieces, three nephews and seven great nieces/nephews.

He was preceded in death by his eldest brother, infant "Baby Lewis" Holbert of Fort Sheridan, Il.
