Larry Joe Litchfield, 71, of Summerville, SC, died Thursday, September 7, 2017. His memorial service will be held September 20, 2017 in the J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road at 6:00 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Larry was born March 4, 1946 in Roswell, New Mexico, son of the late Vonlee Nelson Litchfield and the late Mildred Estelle Bonine Litchfield. He owned and operated Poppa Joe's Auto of North Charleston. He was an avid pool player and a member of American Pool Association.

He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Litchfield; son, Carl M. Litchfield (Maria) all of Summerville, SC; son-in-law, John Lawrence of Goose Creek, SC; four grandchildren: Kaleb Lawrence of Goose Creek, SC, Joshua Litchfield, Sarah Mireles and T. J. Mireles all of Summerville, SC; brother, Don Taylor (Wendy) of Atlanta, GA; extended family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Terri Lawrence.
