Larry Malcolm Gradick, 85, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Kay Kittrell Gradick, entered into eternal rest Saturday, June 12, 2021. His graveside service with military honors will be held Friday, June 18, 2021 at 2:00 pm at North Newington Baptist Church Cemetery, 11572 Newington Hwy, Newington, GA 30446. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel 1494 Mathis Ferry Road, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.

Larry was born February 29, 1936 in Savannah, Georgia, son of the late Malcolm Eugene Gradick and the late Martha Rowse Gradick. He retired after 27 years as General Manager from Levy's and Maas Brothers Department Stores in Savannah, GA, a division of Allied Stores Corp, and created a successful wallpaper installation business spanning 10 years. He was a gifted artist and shared his paintings on Christmas and note cards. Larry was a marathon runner with the Savannah Striders and the Charleston Running Club. He was an Army veteran, a six year member of the Navy Reserves, and a member of the local VFW and American Legion.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Kay K. Gradick of Mount Pleasant, SC, son, Craig Gradick of Atlanta, GA, daughter, Paige Hilton and her husband Kim of Mt. Pleasant, SC, granddaughters, Jane Hilton and Lucy Hilton. His brother, Melvin Gradick, preceded him in death.
