Marlowe Marie Moxley captured the hearts of all she met with her inner joy, positive energy, and above all, an intelligence and ability to always remain gracious and humble.

Marlowe, known to all as a loving and compassionate soul who enjoyed laughter and a good prank. She had an adventurous personality and enjoyed traveling. At an early age, she always conveyed an outward appearance of an inner beauty and strength. She excelled not only academically, but also athletically - especially with dance and cheering - and still found time in her young life to donate her energies to non-profit projects around our community. At the age of 12, she obtained her scuba certification via her Uncle Robbie Marlowe as her instructor. The same year she agreed to present a poetry reading for a charitable event, exhibiting such a sense of caring for others, not fearing what most her age would - being put behind a microphone in front of a crowd, the whole time remaining so poised. She was an excellent student, a member of the National Honor Society, recipient of the DAR Good Citizen award, as well as winning awards from more than one non-profit organization. Her studies at home and abroad, during educational vacation, drove her to always want to learn more, and set her goals high. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. Love was the resounding message Marlowe always, and very humbly, expressed in all she did. That love is here, and is a gift to all of us, forever.

Marlowe, daughter of Leigh Marlowe and John Moxley was born on April 27, 2002 and left this world prematurely on February 20, 2021 at the age of 18.
She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Marie Moxley and uncle, Robbie Marlowe. She is survived by her mother, Leigh Marlowe; father, John Moxley; maternal grandparents, Bert and Loy Ballam; paternal grandfather, Harry Moxley; and an abundance of aunts, uncles and cousins.

There will be a private service for immediate family. The service will be recorded and available on this tribute page at a later date. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.

She will be deeply missed by all who truly knew and loved her.
