Milder Perry Hardin, Jr., 76, of Hanahan, South Carolina, husband of Julia Sue Higginbotham Hardin died Wednesday, November 22, 2017. His funeral service will be held Sunday, November 26, 2017 in Messiah Lutheran Church, 1106 Yeamans Hall Road at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. NORTHWOODS CHAPEL.

Perry was born August 6, 1941 in Ruffin, South Carolina, son of the late Milder Perry Hardin, Sr. and the late Eunice L Strickland Hardin. He was retired from Banks Construction as a Heavy Equipment Technician. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and he coached baseball in Hanahan for 20 years. Perry was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Julia Sue Hardin of Hanahan, SC; three sons, Milder Perry Hardin III (Lisa) of North Charleston, SC, Billy Hardin (Pam) of Hollywood, SC, and Tommy Hardin (Shelly) of Hollywood, SC; two sisters, Annette H. Hoff (Pat) of North Charleston, SC and Linda H. Tovey (Renny) of Phenix City, AL; grandchildren, Kye Hardin, Troy Hardin, Matthew Hardin, Zachary Hardin, Chad Hardin and Josh Hardin and one great grandchild, Brennan Hardin.
