Peter Williams, 82, of Isle Of Palms, South Carolina, husband of Denice Marie Garber Williams entered into eternal rest Wednesday, August 12, 2020. Services will be private. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Peter was born June 28, 1938 in Wallasey, Cheshire, England, son of the late Arthur Williams and the late Nancy Lawson Williams. While living in England, he was a builder of open ocean sailboats and transitioned that to a career in the United states in Naval shipyards as a shipfitter. He loved to work around the house, could build just about anything and always had a song in his heart. Just about any situation would spur a memory and he would sing a little ditty that would make everyone smile.

He is survived by his wife, Denice Williams of Isle of Palms, SC; sons Bryan Williams of Isle of Palms, SC and Barry Williams (Jennifer) of Los Angeles, CA; two grandchildren Emily Williams and Whitney Williams. He was preceded in death by his brother, Eric Williams.
