Rose Kay Tingley Petzold, 80, of Charleston, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2019. Her memorial service will be held Saturday, November 23, 2019 in Citadel Square Baptist Church, 328 Meeting Street at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 am in the Reception Room at Citadel Square Baptist Church prior to the service. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Rose was born June 18, 1939 in Baltimore, Maryland, daughter of the late Edgar Wesley Tingley and the late Rose Winkler Tingley. She was a homemaker and volunteered her time as a teachers aide at numerous schools and helped at the Charleston Senior Center. She was a member of Citadel Square Baptist Church.

She is survived by sons, Wayne Petzold, David Petzold, and Marty Petzold; grandchildren, Savannah, Dillon, Crawford and Michelle; and one brother, Ed Tingley.
