Roy Jackson Privette, 67, of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest Thursday, March 18, 2021. His Celebration of Life will be held Monday, March 22, 2021 in West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, Charleston, SC, 29414 at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Masks are required and social distancing will be observed.

Roy was born December 15, 1953 in Durham, NC, a son of the late Charles T. Privette and Marian Baker Privette. He was a Nuclear Field Service Engineer. He was well respected by his peers and loved by his children. He was an avid fisherman and loved being on the water.

He is survived by his two sons, Gordon Privette, of Charleston, SC and Jackson Privette, of Murphy, NC; his granddaughter, Mackenzie Privette; his three brothers, Tommy Privette, of Buchanan Dam, TX, Richard Privette, of Charleston, SC, and Billy Privette, of Mullins, SC.
