Shirley Phifer Vendrick, 82, of Charleston, SC entered into eternal rest Saturday, January 16,2021. She was predeceased by the love of her life, with 67 years of marriage, Robert Vendrick. Her funeral service will be held Thursday, January 21,2021 at J Henry Sturh Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 11:00 am where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens.
Shirley was born June 28,1938 in Marshville, NC, daughter of the late Wilson Phifer and Lillie Thomas Phifer.
She is survived by her children; Brenda Bloomingburg, Veronica Goff (Ray), Robert Vendrick Jr. (Kim), Steven Vendrick (Connie), and Melissa Phillips (Earle); eight Grandchildren Miranda, Jim, Kimberlee, Matt, Danny, Caroline, Bradley, and Allen; and 12 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband; son in law John Bloomingburg; Best friend Libby Drawdy; and eight brothers and sisters.
