Susan Elizabeth Tyrrell, 87, of Johns Island, SC, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 17, 2022. Her Funeral Service will be held Sunday, February 20, 2022 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 2:30 pm. Interment will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service in the West Ashley Chapel beginning at 1:30 pm.

Susan was born July 10, 1934 in Charleston, SC, daughter of the late William Johnson and Annie Mabel Taylor. She was the founder of Quality Upholstery. She loved sewing and making outfits for her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling. She loved her church family at Victory Fellowship Church, especially the children.

She is survived by her sons, Jonathan R. Tyrrell Jr. of Johns Island, Charles Tyrrell of Hollywood, Ronald Tyrrell of TN, and Donald Tyrrell of TN; daughters, Susan Kathleen Cox of Johns Island, Betty Tyrrell of Johns Island; and Gail Hamilton of CA; and 39 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jonathan R. Tyrrell Sr.

Memorials may be made in her honor to Victory Fellowship Church.
