Theresa Dianne Sigler, 59, of Goose Creek, SC, wife of Dean Curtis Sigler entered into eternal rest Thursday, August 26, 2021. Her memorial service will be held Saturday, September 4, 2021 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.

Theresa was born March 27, 1962 in Chattanooga, TN, daughter of the late Harold Lee Davis and Minnie Jane Hill. She was 24 days shy of 41 years of continuous sobriety. Her first 18 years on this earth she was a hellion, a rebel without a cause, then she found her cause. She spent the next 41 years working with people who were at their lowest point in their lives; working with children who had lost all hope and working with dogs most people would have put down. She touched the lives of thousands of people and scores of dogs in a positive way. Pulling them from the depths of despair, bringing light into their dark lives, giving them something to live for. She inspired so many. Then God sad My child, you have completed your task here on earth, you are needed up in Heaven God called her home at the age of 59 years 5 months. Goodbye my love, take care of all the fur babies.

She is survived by husband, Dean Sigler; son, Shawn Lee Sigler of Sasebo, Japan; daughter, Sandra Lynn Baker (Craig) of Indianapolis, IN; her mother, Jane Hill of Orangeburg, SC; two brothers, Ron Davis (Traci) of Summerville, SC, Harley Davis of Odessa, TX; two sisters, Michelle Roberson (James) of Goose Creek, SC and Natalia Mendez (Christopher) of Louisville, CO; grandson, Caleb Baker.

Memorials may be made to Basenji Rescue and Transport, 7255 Jermyn Cove, Germantown, TN 38138 Basenjirescue.org.
