Willis "Bill" Fuller, Jr. died in his sleep peacefully with his children present on November 16, 2018. He was born on October 16, 1940 in Athens, Georgia, to Willis Fuller and Grace Hood Fuller.

Bill is survived by his beloved, longtime companion, Nella Gray Barkley; children, Melissa Fuller Brown of Charleston, SC; Willis "Trey" Fuller, III, DVM, (Jenna Buice) of Anderson, SC; and two daughters, Ellen Fuller (1964) and Mary Grace Fuller (1968), who predeceased him; grandchildren, Ellen Hudson Brown Howard (Raven); Fleetwood Fuller Brown; Frederick "Eric" Ivan Fuller; Willis Joiner Fuller; and Lily Elizabeth Fuller; sister, Melissa Fuller Hester; niece Carlotta Marie Hester (Christopher Murray); and nephew Benjamin Alexander Hester; many cousins and his three dogs, Yukon, Tater and Abby. His faithful companion and partner in crime, Grits, predeceased him.

Bill graduated from The Citadel in 1962 and The University of South Carolina School of Law in 1965. He was a member of The Citadel Rifle Team all four years. His senior year as Captain, the undefeated 1962 squad defeated West Point to capture The Citadel's only athletic National Championship Title.

Following graduation from law school, Bill served as a Captain in the USAF JAG Corps. In 1968, he entered the private practice of law and remained a member of the South Carolina Bar for 56 years. He was a lifetime member of the Hibernian Society and the Downtown Men's Athletic Club. He was also a member of St. Philips Church.

Bill cherished his family, friends and faith. All his favorite activities involved the outdoors: fishing, boating and hunting with family and friends---from the Miss Demeanor, Harmony Hall Plantation to the South 40.
